Johnathan is equipped with a "standard issue" AA in Graphic Design, where he learned all about leading, kerning, points, picas, & pixels. He's combat-proven with design projects that have included catalog covers, web designs, vinyl banner designs, business cards, POS displays, and puppy shower invitations. Wanting to do more than Photoshop wireframes, Johnathan's self-taught in HTML & CSS (back when HTML was tables & CSS was in-line) and hasn't looked back. In addition to his AA, he completed two years at The Joe Kubert School in Dover, NJ studying narrative and commercial art.

Outside of design interests, Johnathan is a passionate bicyclist and active member of Cascade Bicycle club, where he completed his first Seattle To Portland event in 2015. Which was 208.39 miles over two days, with an average speed of 15.2 mph. Johnathan's also completed the Seattle to Portland event for 2016, riding 206 miles over two days with an average speed of 15.8 mph. 2017 saw Johnathan lead a team for the Seattle to Portland. He consulted for nutrition, taught group riding techniques/communication, taught endurance riding techniques, demonstrated bicycle maintenance (chain maintenance, fixing a flat, clipping in, etc), scheduled/lead training rides and then lead the team to a two-day completion.
