Below are my illustrations I did as part of my participation in 2018's Inktober. Inktober is a global art movement where a set of official single-word prompts are listed a month before October 1st. This allows artists to gather reference and think of ideas before hand. Artists are encouraged to use traditional art (brushes, nibs, technical pens, India ink, etc) but can use digital methods if necessary. Artists are encouraged to complete and post their black & white art every day with the corresponding prompt.

A creative community I belong to decided one day before October 1st to participate in Inktober. This meant that there was no time to properly plan or prep ... So, every piece was thought of, referenced, illustrated and posted within the 24-hour period of each prompt. Not since attending Kubert have I done so much high-quality art in such an incredibly short ammount of time. The high-stress situation helped connect with other artists facing the same tight deadlines, where we encouraged, offered critiques, helped with reference, and shared shortcuts.
